As part of our regular maintenance and cleaning work, the Jewish cemetery of Astey, fenced by the ESJF in 2016, was cleaned recently.
The Astey Jewish cemetery is located in Ukraine’s Zakarpattia region and has 8 preserved matzevot dating from 1895 to 1933.
The fencing of this site in 2016 was made possible with financial support from the Auswärtiges Amt (German Federal Foreign Office).
