The Jewish cemeteries in Ukraine’s Transcarpathia, in the villages of Dubove and Mala Dobron, were cleaned recently

As part of our regular maintenance work, the Jewish cemeteries in Ukraine’s Transcarpathia, in the villages of Dubove and Mala Dobron, were cleaned recently.

These cemeteries were fenced by the ESJF back in 2016 and 2017 with the financial support of the Auswärtiges Amt (German Federal Foreign Office).

Today, we are seeing more and more local communities and activists taking the initiative to clean and maintain Jewish cemeteries on their own. We are always glad to see such efforts!
