The ESJF report on Jewish cemeteries in Poland is now available online

This report details the condition of 1,200 Jewish cemeteries surveyed across all 16 Polish voivodeships by ESJF surveyors between 2020 and 2024. It is now the most comprehensive resource available on the locations of all known Jewish cemeteries in Poland and their current state of preservation and protection.

Covering both existing and destroyed sites, the report was prepared by Kateryna Malakhova, ESJF Director of Historical Research.

This work began with funding from the European Commission as part of an EU pilot project and was completed with the generous support of private donors.
