Together with the Satu Mare Jewish community and local authorities, the ESJF, represented by CEO Philip Carmel, held a rededication ceremony at the Jewish cemetery in Medieșu Aurit.
This is one of two Jewish cemeteries that we have fenced in this village, highlighting how significant the local Jewish community once was.
The ESJF has recently begun implementing fencing projects in Romania. Last year, we fenced three Jewish cemeteries, and this year so far two, with two more planned.
