This time, we plan to document around 60 Jewish cemeteries in Fejér county. The first site visited by our team, led by Dohi Gabriella, was the Jewish cemetery in Mezőfalva.
This year, Hungary became the third country where we are carrying out surveys of Jewish cemeteries. Earlier, we completed the documentation of all known cemeteries in Slovakia, and in Serbia our surveyors recorded 103 cemeteries as part of the first phase of the national survey.
