In the past weeks, ESJF has surveyed 100 sites across Lithuania as part of the pilot project funded by the European Commission. Lithuania is the last of the 5 countries in which ESJF surveys were conducted this year.
The work was supported by our local partners, the Community of Lithuanian Jews (Lietuvos žydų bendruomenė), particularly their national coordinator Renaldas Augustinavičius. The surveys were accompanied by sessions with local authorities, where stakeholders were presented with information about the methodology and purpose of the ESJF surveys. We are currently organising educational activities and processing the data gathered from the sites.
