Historical overview
The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. First, it appears on Polish maps of Wojskowy Instytut Geograficzny (WIG) of 1939. According to the locals, the cemetery was demolished during the Soviet period.
Little is known about the Jewish community in Vyshnivchyk. In 1880, the number of Jewish residents stood at 375 people, and the figure declined to 73 in 1931.
