Historical overview

The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. First, it appears on the Second and, later, on Third Austrian survey of the 1860s and 1880s, so it can be assumed that the cemetery emerged in the mid 19th century. The oldest preserved gravestone relates to the late 19th century.
