Historical overview
The period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. First, it appears on a cadastral map of 1865, but the earliest preserved gravestone relates to the early 19th century. The cemetery is supervised by Jewish descendants of Vonihove in coordination with volunteer organization HFPJC (New York).
