Historical overview
Given the oldest preserved tombstone is dated 1914, it can be inferred the cemetery was already in use by the early 20th century. Given it can be found marked on an Austro-Hungarian map of the region from the 1880s, it can be further deduced that it was founded no later than the late 19th century.
