Historical overview
The exact period of the cemetery’s foundation is unknown, although it was supposedly constructed in the late 18th century, and was marked on an old topographic map of the area. It was demolished in the 1950s during the construction of the Military Aviation College. Some of the tombstones were transferred to Vasylkiv New Jewish cemetery.
