Historical overview

The matzevot of the cemetery are from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is known that the Germans used some matzevot to pave the streets. In 1993 and 1995, during renovation works, several dozen of them were found and transported back to the cemetery. Jews from Krościenko, Ustianowa and other nearby villages were also buried within the necropolis.
