The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. The cemetery could not be found marked on old maps of the region. The earliest tombstone found dates to 1936. Supposedly, it was founded in the first half of the 20th century. The most recent tombstone dates to 2017. There were Jews from Vapnyarka and Horyshkivka buried in the cemetery and there is a mass grave on the site.
