General site condition
The Jewish cemetery is located near to the municipal cemetery in a very central area in the settlement. It is well maintained. There is a crypt, the roof of which is damaged and the lid of the grave is displaced.

18 gravestones were located. There was also a crypt found, however it is unclear whether the crypt is Jewish.

Historical overview
The Jewish cemetery of Sényő was established as early as 1870, since it appears on the cadastral map of that year. The latest tombstone found in the cemetery dates to 1907. The cemetery has not been fenced.
According to census data, 15 Jews lived in Sényő in 1840. The Jewish population peaked at 68 in 1880, following which the population decreased gradually. 54 Jews lived in the village in 1910, 31 in 1920, 39 in 1930, and 22 in 1941. According to the Yad Vashem database, 23 Jews of Sényő are reported to be murdered in the Holocaust.
