Locals are aware that a Jewish cemetery was once located in the village, but none could give any definitive information about the site. The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. According to the Commission of the Preservation of the Jewish Heritage, the cemetery was established in the mid 19th century. The last burial took place in the 1930s.
