The cemetery is located next to the Soviet War cemetery, most of the land of the cemetery taken up by the car park and a highway, the rest is overgrown by bushes. There’s a small lapidarium and a commemorative stone marking the cemetery.

Historical overview
The cemetery was mentioned in 1656 when the rabbi of Pila Meir ben Elisakim Goetz was buried on the site. In 1682 there was a conflict between Jewish community and the local authorities who buid gallows on the site. The cemetery was demolished after 1947. Gravestones and gravel from the cemetery hill were used i the reconstruction works of the road. In 1955-1956 gravel from the cemetery were taken and used in the construction works on Głęboke lake. In 1960s the Shooting range was established on the site. The cemetery was officially closed in 1970. The territory was used for gravel mining. Later the hill was demolished and leveled. The road was laid through the former cemetery hill. In 2015 the memorial was established on the site.
