Historical overview
The exact period of the cemetery’s foundation is unknown. However, according to epigraphic data, it already existed in the 1850s, and it can be found marked on a map of the region from the 1860s. The cemetery remained in use after WWII, with the latest preserved tombstone dating to the 1960s. The cemetery was surveyed by Yefim Kogan of JewishGen in 2016.
