General site condition
The cemetery is accessed via some small steps from a lane outside the town. It is unfenced but marked by a small sign. The Lapidarium contains more than 60 fragments, and in the far end of the cemetery there is clear evidence of shooting pits, common of the type used by the Einzatzgruppen during the war – nothing marks the spot of this mass grave.

Historical overview
The cemetery was demolished during WW2, gravestones were taken for the construction works and paving. During the war some Jewish were killed on the cemetery site. In 2008 some fragments of the gravestones were discoverd. In 2010 from the Lapidarium was established on the site.
In 1939, Lubraniec was populated by 880 Jews, in January 1940 by 988 (including 203 refugees), in January 1941 by 991. On 28 September and 9 November 1941, 762 Jews (including 232 men) were sent to the Łódź ghetto. The annihilation of the last 100 people took place in the spring of 1942.
