Historical overview
The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. It was not marked on old maps, but the oldest preserved gravestone relates to the second half of the 19th century.
In 1847, 641 Jews were inhabitants of Kuz’myn. The Jewish population stood at 830 people (24,6% of the total) in 1897.
