Historical overview

In May 1943, at the local Jewish cemetery, the Germans shot 11 Jews from Krzywcza and Kańczuga. Their bodies were buried at the place of their execution. According to sztetl.org, a plaque commemorating the 11 victims was placed on a ruined ohel in the central part of the cemetery.
