The Jewish cemetery is surrounded by a 1.5 metre tall concrete fence. One side is protected by a concrete wall. A brick wall separates to the Neologist Jewish cemetery from the Orthodox Jewish cemetery to its west.

Historical overview
The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. The cemetery cannot be found marked on an Austro-Hungarian map of the region from the 1880s. However, the oldest preserved tombstone dates to 1889. As such, it can be inferred the cemetery was founded no later than the late 19th century.
