Historical overview

The second Jewish cemetery in Komarówka Podlaska was located 1 km south of the market square, along the trade road from Komarówka Podlaska to the village of Rudno. Its history and original appearance are unknown. It was likely established in the 19th century and later was destroyed during World War II. The Germans executed Jews in the cemetery. There is currently a sports stadium (built at an unknown time) on the land of the cemetery. There are no traces of the cemetery, nor is there any information plaque about its existence. 12 recovered tombstones from the second cemetery were placed in the old cemetery, most of which are from the 19th century.
