Historical overview
The date of establishing the cemetery is unknown. In 1781, the inspector of the local Roman Catholic parish stated: "There are no Jewish synagogues, public schools, and Jewish cemeteries. They are burying Jewish corpses in Ciechanów next to their synagogue."
The cemetery has undergone far-reaching devastation. There are 11 tombstones made of granite field stones with inscriptions in Hebrew, incl. Matzevah of Yehuda Tzvi, son of Jechiel, who died on June 13, 1854 (17 Sivan 5614).
