Historical overview

The cemetery was established in the middle of the 19th century. Here were brought some human remains from the old cemeteries. The last funeral was held in 1837. The cemetery was badly damaged during WW2. Cemetery was partly overbuilt, most of the gravestones were sold. However, after the war there were some damaged gravestones. The cemetery was demolished in the 1960s. The school was built on the site. Human remains were exhumed and buried on the Catholic cemetery.
