Historical overview

The Cemetery is in a sensitive area. I was allowed to take some photographs however these were restricted. The cemetery was established in 1743. After the First Silesian war. The cemetery was badly damaged during the war in 1813. Gravestones were used for the fortification needs. After the war the cemetery was still used by the community. But in 1857 and in 1906 human remains were exhumed and were buried on the newest Jewish cemetery.
