The cemetery appears to be maintained. Trees have been felled at the site. The pictures on izraelitatemetők seem to show more graves than found today.

The Jewish cemetery in Csengersima-Nagygéc is one of the more recent cemeteries in the region. Its earliest preserved tombstone was erected in 1920, and burials were conducted in the cemetery until at least 1980.
