Historical overview
There are two Jewish cemeteries in Csaroda, one of which appears on the cadastral map from 1866, though likely was founded earlier, since its earliest tombstone found in the cemetery dates to 1830. The latest tombstone found in this cemetery dates to 1911. The two cemeteries in the settlement, which are both located next to the Christian cemetery, likely were active simultaneously for a short period of time.
