The cemetery is located at the north of the village. Head northwest from the corner of Makharadze and after around 220m you will find the cemetery. The cemetery is a shared cemetery with a few Jewish tombstones on the Northwestern side.

The cemetery is covered with dense seasonal vegetation. On the territory at coordinates 46.041877, 34.538437, there was once a large common cemetery, where many Jewish graves were located. Only a few Christian graves are left in this cemetery today. A few Jewish graves were reburied from this cemetery to the cemetery at coordinates 46.0383, 34.53889.
The head of the village council said that there was once a significant Jewish population in the village.
One building in front of the local school is called “the Synagogue” by the locals.

Historical overview
The exact period of the Jewish section’s establishment is unknown. Given the oldest preserved tombstone dates to the mid 20th century, it can be assumed that the cemetery was founded in that era. It cannot be found marked on old maps of the region.
