General site condition
The cemetery has no gate and no entrance at all. It is continuously fenced. It is impossible to enter the area in the usual way. Demolished, fenced Jewish cemetery with no tombstones on it. Currently, a patch of the park is difficult to access and overgrown with dense vegetation. The area is not marked in any form. Next to the cemetery, the former gravedigger’s house has been preserved (today, this functions as a private property – a single-family residential building).

Historical overview
The Old Jewish cemetery in Chojnice (Mickiewicza Street) was established in the 18th century, when the Jewish community was set up. Its area was 0.5 ha. It served the community for approximately 100 years. There were no burials there in the interwar period. It was destroyed by the Germans during World War II. Currently, the area is fenced, but no matzevot have survived. For many years there was a playground on the cemetery side from the side of Zielona Street.
