From the center of Bukowsko, near the Gas station "Grosar", turn onto a side street and follow it until its end. Then continue to the right on a dirt road. The cemetery is in the middle of the woods and is signposted. It is also near a tourist trail and can be viewed from afar by a bench and table near the dirt road.

The cemetery is situated in a forest, but not heavily overgrown. The tombstones are well visible with legible inscriptions and most of them are in good condition, and some of them have fallen.

Historical overview
Some of the matzevot of the cemetery were used to harden the roads in Bukowiec and Sanok. In 1942-1943, the Nazis carried out executions of people of Jewish origin in the vicinity of the cemetery. It is estimated that around 100 Jews died here.
