Historical overview

The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown, but the oldest preserved gravestone relates to the mid-19th century. First, it was marked on Russian maps of 1879, later was also marked on Russian maps of the 1920s. It appears on Polish maps of Wojskowy Instytut Geograficzny (WIG) of 1939.
