Historical overview
The period of establishment of the Old Jewish cemetery of Berezne is unknown. In 1870s the New cemetery already existed, which means that Old cemetery could be closed at that time. The Old cemetery appears on the detailed Polish map of 1936. Presumably it existed until WWII and was demolished during the war or after that.
