In September, our survey team visited and documented 55 Jewish cemeteries across Fejér county. Preparations are already underway to begin surveys in the surrounding regions.
Between 2019 and 2021, the ESJF documented 311 cemeteries in the north-eastern counties of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Hajdú-Bihar. With the addition of Fejér, Jewish cemeteries in three Hungarian counties have now been comprehensively surveyed and documented.
