Online seminar for museum and cultural heritage professionals in the Baltic states "Documenting and preserving Jewish heritage in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia"

ESJF, in partnership with Yad Vashem Archives, Center for Jewish Art at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and Museum “Jews in Latvia”, is organising an online seminar for museum professionals and representatives of cultural heritage institutions in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

The seminar will explore the preservation and documentation of Jewish heritage, with a particular focus on Holocaust archival records, Jewish artifacts in museum collections, and Jewish cemeteries as an integral part of Europe’s cultural heritage. It will also examine the specific characteristics and challenges of preserving Jewish heritage in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
