The ESJF is holding a national roundtable discussion on the preservation and protection of Jewish cemeteries in Ukraine. The event will be approximately two hours long and will take place on January 20 at 20:00, in the Diye-Slovo studio on Zoom.
Doctor of Philosophical Sciences Kateryna Malakhova will open the round table with a lecture on the importance of protecting Jewish cemeteries.
ESJF invites everyone to share their own experiences! This is your chance to talk about how you protect Jewish cemeteries in your city or village from destruction, neglect, or vandalism – apply for a 5-minute talk!
To receive a link to the meeting, please fill out the form by January 10.
The roundtable discussion is being organized with the support of the German Foreign Office, in partnership with the Interdisciplinary Certificate Program in Jewish Studies (A. Yu. Krymskyi Institute of Oriental Studies) and the United Jewish Community of Ukraine.
