A workshop at the Ostroh Jewish Cemetery, organized as part of the city’s Days of Jewish Culture

Our handouts were used by a great friend of the ESJF, Tetiana Fedoriv, during a workshop for around 30 participants at the Ostroh Jewish cemetery, organized as part of the city’s Days of Jewish Culture (Town Image Studio)

This cemetery was fenced by the ESJF back in 2015, with financial support from the German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt).

We’re delighted to see the increasing interest in Jewish cemeteries, as this is the best way to ensure their long-term preservation!

You can find more resources on our website to help you better understand these cemeteries and share their value with others https://www.esjf-cemeteries.org/publications-and-reports/

For those living in Ostroh, the Ostroh Museum of Book and Publishing now has a few ESJF books that everyone can access.
