Work well underway in Briceva Jewish Cemetery in Moldova

Construction work is now well underway at the ESJF’s first project in Moldova at Briceva. We are very proud to be financing and implementing this project and are grateful for the initiative of the LivingStones Association for drawing our attention to it.

The Jewish agricultural settlement in Briceva in Bessarabia was founded in 1838. However, after the Shoah, the settlement was abandoned and the local Jewish cemetery was neglected. We look forward to restoring it and protecting it.
