General site condition
The new Jewish cemetery of Mława is situated on a meadow on the south-eastern outskirts of the town. The cemetery was demolished during the WW2 and restored in the 1990s: the area is now fenced and well maintained. There is a Holocaust memorial and 2 lapidariums.
Number of existing gravestones
No tombstones have survived in their original places, but around 100 pieces of tombstones are preserved in 2 lapidariums. The first lapidarium consists of 14 small fragments, embedded into a flat concrete pedestal along with a memorial plaque. The second lapidarium, installed in 1994, is shaped as a symbolic menorah: square blocks on 7 concrete posts, standing in a row and the pieces of tombstones cover the surface of the blocks.

Two lapidariums and a Holocaust memorial.
On June 9th 1994, a monument in the shape of a menorah was put up in the cemetery. About 30 Jews of the Diaspora, representatives of the Embassy of Israel in Poland and of local authorities took part in the ceremony of the unveiling of the monument.
