The site contains an Ohel dedicated to one Rabbi Samuel Rosenberg (? – 09/07/1919), erected on the 100th anniversary of his death. The Ohel contains two other tombstones, one belonging to Efraim Yehuda, the Rabbi’s only son, as well as his son-in-law Yehuda Horowitz (husband of the Rabbi’s only daughter Sarah).

Historical overview

The new cemetery was opened in the first half of the 19th century. According to the Jewish Gen Online Burial Registry (JOWBR), the oldest preserved tombstone is dated 1833. The tombstones on the cemetery date to the 19th and 20th centuries. The site also contains an Ohel dedicated to one Rabbi Samuel Rosenberg (?-09/07/1919). The Ohel was erected on the 100th anniversary of his death.
