The cemetery is adjacent to 2a, Zarzecze Street. Heading north-west on Zarzecze Street, take a right turn onto the paved road after house 8a. The Jewish cemetery is located on the eastern side of the road, next to the catholic graveyard.

General site condition
The New Jewish cemetery of Augustow is situated in a forested area on the north-eastern outskirts of the town. The cemetery is adjacent to private residential properties and a Catholic cemetery. The territory is overgrown with trees and bushes. All present tombstones are not in their original places. There is a lapidarium wall and a Holocaust memorial. There was anti-Semitic graffiti found on the tombstones.
Number of existing gravestones
There are no intact tombstones in situ. 16 tombstones in poor condition and 7 small pieces of tombstones were placed in the lapidarium wall behind the Holocaust memorial.
