The Jews of Bystrytsya were rounded up the day after after Passover 5704 (16 April 1944) and placed in a ghetto,  where they remained for about a month before transportation to Auschwitz. The Jewish cemetery is located outside of the town, along a road on flat land, surrounded by fields.
