Fence completions at Irlyava and Storozhnytsya

With the recent completion of fences at the Jewish cemeteries of Irlyava and Storozhnytsya, both in the Uzhorod district of Ukrainian Transcarpathia, the ESJF has now finished 2017 projects in Transcarpathia. Ten were completed in this region alone this year, bringing out Transcarpathia projects to 39 since we began in this region in 2015. Many more are planned for next year in a region with a very high density of Jewish burial sites, perhaps one of the highest in the world.

ESJF projects for this year are still ongoing in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsa and Chernivtsi regions.
