ESJF working with Council of Europe on protecting cultural heritage

An integral part of the ESJF project is the mobilisation of local communities and authorities in the protection of their own cultural heritage, often in places where there are no longer any Jewish communities. The ESJF is proud to work in close cooperation with the Council of Europe in promoting the Faro Action Plan on protection of Europe’s cultural heritage. Today, ESJF Chief Engineer Григорий Аршинов, also a councillor in the city of Ostroh in NW Ukraine, presents a local action plan to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
