ESJF makes preparatory visits to Belarus cemetery sites and local councils inadvance of summer projects.

The ESJF received formal authorisations this week from five local councils in Belarus to perform fencing work at Jewish cemetery sites in their localities. Meetings were held at the local municipalities by ESJF Projects Coordinator Ihor Travianko and Alexei Erohin, representative of the Union of Religious Jewish Congregations in the Republic of Belarus.

ESJF projects scheduled for this summer in Belarus include the followoing sites: Ivyanets and Bobovnya (Minsk region), Svysloch and Zaverezhye (Mohilev region) and Tikhinichi (Gomel region).
