ESJF fences Vyshnivets New Cemetery

The ESJF has begun fencing work at Vyshnivets New Cemetery in Ternopil oblast, Ukraine.

The cemetery contains approximately 1,300 tombstones, dating from 1905 to 2004.

This project was made possible through financial support from the Federal Republic of Germany’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ESJF would like to extend its gratitude to Mayor Volodymyr Vasylovich Kravets and the Ternopil Regional State Administration for their support.

This is the first of six new fencing projects we are undertaking in Ukraine, with work set to begin at three further sites in Moldova in the near future. Updates on each site will be posted as work progresses.
