ESJF fences Vyshnivets New Cemetery

The ESJF started fencing works at Vyshnivets New Cemetery, in Ternopil oblast, Ukraine.

The cemetery has approximately 1300 tombstones from the 20th century, dating from 1905 to 2004.

The works are made possible by the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany. The ESJF is grateful for the Ternopil Regional State Administration and to mayor Volodymyr Vasylovich Kravets for their support.

This is the fist of six fencing projects we are working on in the near future in Ukraine, and a further three sites in Moldova. Updates about each site will be posted as work progresses.
