Last week, Philip Carmel, CEO of the ESJF visited Ukraine to express support and solidarity to our partners, who we have also developed friendships with over the years. It was our honour to meet up with Vasil Antonyuk, Mayor of the city of Dubno, North Western Ukraine, who supported renovation projects at the historic Great Synagogue and the protection of its 17th century Jewish cemetery. We would like to thank you for your great work and long term support!
On the route back to the Polish border, Philip also stopped off at two of our fenced projects in Romaniv and Chudniv in the Zhitomyr region, Ukraine. A big thanks to the local council for maintaining these sites in a dignified manner.
