A hundred fences now completed

The completion of the fence at the Bela Crkva Jewish cemetery in Serbia last week marks the ESJF’s 100th completed project since the initiative began in 2015.

To date, we have fenced sites in Belarus, Czech Republic, Serbia, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine.

Funding for the ESJF fencing projects has been provided by the Auswärtiges Amt, to whom we are very grateful for their support of this historic project.

We would also like to thank all our partners: Ваад Украина; Jewish Community of Serbia; Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland – FODŻ; Gmina Żydowska w Warszawie; ИРО в РБ; Federation of Jewish Communities in Czech Republic (https://www.fzo.cz/en/); Matana; Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung; Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Ukraine; Německé velvyslanectví v Praze; Ambasada Niemiec; Посольство Німеччини в Києві / Deutsche Botschaft Kiew; LivingStones Association; and the various countries in which we have worked, for their incredible support and encouragement as we head into our fourth year.
