The cemetery is surrounded by a metal mesh fence with concrete sections of 1.5 metres height with metal gates installed in September 2017 by ESJF.

There is an ohel dedicated to Rabbi Menahem Mendil (died in 1891), his daughter Gitl (died in 1923), his wife Rabbanit Pesil-Leah, and family of Rabbi David (died in 1848), a son of Menahem Mendil of Kosiv, his son Rabbi Yaakov and his wife Rabbanith Frida (died in 1894).There is one more tsiyun outside the ohel, presumably, dedicated to a child (the name is erased) (died in 1850).

Historical overview

The exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. The oldest gravestone relates to the mid 19th century, so it can be assumed that the cemetery emerged during that period. It was not marked on old maps. The cemetery was fenced by ESJF in Sepmenber 2017.
