Our first 2017 fence construction

Today, we successfully completed the construction of a concrete-panelled fence at the Jewish Cemetery in Verba, Rivne Oblast, NW Ukraine. Previous fencing had been placed at the site but the ESJF successfully extended the borders with more substantial fencing, thereby protecting the whole site against the imminent risk of agricultural encroachment. The concrete has been covered in special protection material and designed in such a way that it does not conflict with the adjacent rural landscape. The first of many ESJF projects for 2017, with many more in the pipeline. Special thanks to Avrom Bendavid Tal, who for many years has worked for the protection of this cemetery and its graves.
